STUDIO POLICY

Welcome to Myo Movement. As a physiotherapy and training facility, we are committed to providing high-quality, client-centred care in a safe and respectful environment. The following studio policy outlines important information regarding participation, safety, and mutual expectations for all clients engaging in treatment and training sessions at our facility.​

Scope of Services

At Myo Movement, we offer a range of physiotherapy and training services, which may include:

  • Physiotherapy assessment and treatment

  • Corrective and rehabilitative exercise therapy

  • Strength and conditioning training

  • Cardiovascular, flexibility, and mobility training

  • Manual therapy techniques including mobilisation, massage, cupping, dry needling, and chiropractic adjustments

Each session is tailored to your individual goals and physical condition. All treatment or training procedures will be clearly explained to you before they are conducted.
 

Client Participation and Conduct

You are expected to participate actively and cooperatively in your treatment or training programme. This includes:

  • Attending scheduled sessions punctually

  • Providing accurate health and medical information

  • Informing your therapist/trainer of any discomfort, pain, or concerns during the session

If necessary for treatment purposes, you may be asked to disrobe. Your privacy, dignity, and comfort will always be respected. You may decline, pause, or request an alternative therapist at any point.
 

Health & Safety Disclaimer

While every precaution is taken to ensure your safety, participation in physical therapy and fitness training involves certain inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Muscle soreness, fatigue, or discomfort

  • Aggravation of existing injuries

  • Strains, sprains, or other physical injuries

  • Cardiovascular events in rare cases
     

By participating, you confirm that:

  • You are medically fit and have no condition that prevents safe participation.

  • You will communicate any changes in your physical condition to your therapist/trainer.

  • You accept all risks associated with participation and agree to discontinue any activity that causes pain or distress.
     

Medical Attention

In the event of illness or injury during a session, you authorise Myo Movement staff to arrange emergency medical care if necessary. All related costs will be your responsibility.
 

Consent to Media Use

By entering the facility and participating in sessions, you consent to the use of photographs, videos, or other recordings for promotional purposes by Myo Movement. If you do not wish to be recorded or photographed, please inform the team in writing.
 

Payment & Booking Policy

  • All sessions must be paid for in advance.

  • Your session/slot is confirmed only once payment is received.

  • We operate on a high-demand schedule, and advance payment helps us allocate slots efficiently and accommodate waitlisted clients.
     

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance via formal communication with the Myo Movement operations team (not directly with therapists/trainers).

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be counted as a completed session.

  • We do not offer refunds for missed or cancelled sessions.
     

Code of Conduct

We maintain a respectful, professional, and inclusive environment. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior towards staff or other clients will not be tolerated and may result in suspension of services.
 

By participating in sessions at Myo Movement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Studio Policy.
